During my most recent visit to Cleveland for a family event of course we had Pizzazz.
The parking lot makes it easy to come with family or stop by for take-out. Our family favorites to order to share are the pepperoni pizza, pepperoni calzone and their dinner salad. These are the go to items, but I've tried a lot of the menu at this point and they have so many options anyone can find something to love.
If I'm enjoying something on my own I may get adventurous with the pizza toppings or go for their create your own pasta option. The Abruzzi sauce is really tasty and I love that they have so many pasta options, including gluten-free and zucchini noodles- personally I welcome the carbs though.
My family has also used the downstairs space for events which is a nice option for catered events and it's a fun little space that even has a bar.
Also, if you're a soup person, their Italian Wedding is very tasty too!Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 15Oh no 0Apr 5, 2022Previous reviewThis has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. I've enjoyed many dine-in and take out meals and biting into a slice of Pizzazz pizza is like jumping into a time machine.
The staples for our family have always been the pepperoni pizza and the pepperoni calzone (it's perfect dipped into some marinara sauce). We would usually get one of each and share as a family along with one of their dinner salads.
If you're not a pepperoni fan, or if you're looking for something different, the menu is pretty big and has something on it for everyone. Other favorites are their Italian Wedding Soup and Caprese salad, but you'll find plenty of pasta dishes, salads, sides and of course pizzas to please anyone in your group.
They also do catering which is delicious. Italian food is perfect for large groups and any event I've been to with Pizzazz as the meal has been a fun and tasty one! - Peter F.Highland Heights, OH207328392Nov 2, 2023
Our waitress went above and beyond by serving me a Coke in this Pepsi only location. However I had suspicions when the broiled Brussels sprouts were made with more than the balsamic vinegar that Cheesecake Factory uses, to their (cheesecake factory's) credit, but came with cranberries and swimming in rendered bacon grease. So plus one star for the cranberries, minus one for all the rendered lard. Sort of might explain why midwesterners have the reputation they do about being overweight.
The goat cheese pesto pizza almost saved the day for this restaurant review though, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, as it were.
It was hard for me to decide how this restaurant's name should be pronounced. Pizzas(?)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - 1331Apr 16, 2024
I ordered pizza from here and it was the first time I tried it. I was stunned at how much i loved it! I couldn't stop talking about it. I also ordered a dinner salad. The dinner salad is simple but it's exactly the kind of salad you want on the side for your pizza. I'll definitely order from here again.

Calamari was hot. They forgot sauces it was supposed to come with and silverware but quickly gave these to me when I returned for them.
It was wonderfully crunchy on the outside and not too hard or stale. Good calamari and total was about $14.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Ashley T.Atlanta, GA011Nov 28, 2023
The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming BUT be careful when eating! Found a medium length straight hair in my salad bowl. I was severely disappointed and disgusted in the response from our server. When I informed her of the hair in my food, she responded by stating she assumes I don't want a to go box. Nothing mentioned of sending the manager to the table, providing a new entree, nor removing the contaminated meal from the ticket. I recommend management review and reinforce FDA food regulation training for employees.

I love Pizzazz - it is my go to place for a salad. Absolutely cannot be beat.
But today, this is my view. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Ordered a pick up salad at 6 on a Friday, was told 35 minutes. It is now 75 minutes and I was just told they are making my salad next. You've been forewarned. Bring a book.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Dec 31, 2021
Finally!
I moved to Shaker a year ago and have been in search my new, go to place, when I want something really good, but I have no idea what.
Pizzazz even has chicken noodle soup.
I just wanted a good pizza and I found it. I can't wait to try other menu items.
Place was very clean and more carry out then people inside. Not a surprise considering.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chris M.Cleveland, OH24110283Feb 1, 2023
Hard time with this one. Everything was solidly average. High end of averages we got a pepperoni pizza and a veggie pizza. The pepperoni topping was the best part. The cheese and sauce were unremarkable.
The veggie pizza had wet dough, mo doubt from the veggies releasing their water. But if you are going to have it on your menu - you have to know how to handle it. Dry grill the veggies a bit before putting them on the pizza and do not salt anything until it comes out of the oven.
I would give them 3.5 if possible. Just some tweaks and and more italian seasoning would really help.
Might just be a matter of taste. Try them.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daniel S.Maple Heights, OH14212Jan 29, 2023Updated review
Ordered a pepperoni pizza and had it delivered. I received it the pepperoni was swimming in grease. First bad pizza from them. Very sad.!!

Pizzazz is such a classic spot! My family and I have coming coming here for years. It's consistently delicious - we have our orders down to a science. The grilled chicken salad may sound simple, but it's a must. The house made Italian dressing is addicting and it comes with heaping piles of cheese, chicken, and other toppings. We also like to split one of their chicken and vegetable calzones which comes with their homemade marinara. Such a great casual spot to go to for great food and good times!
