Jer-Zee Drive-In

Always excited to go get my vanilla chocolate dipped cone when we visit Marion, Ohio. The customer service has always been great. Very friendly and helpful when trying to figure out what you want to eat with so many options. Whenever we go there is always a line. Which means the foods good and it's never been a long wait. My husband loves the shredded chicken sandwich. I tried the hot dog with chili and to me it tasted like sloppy joes on top. No problem just not what I was expecting. Besides I was already full from eating my chocolate dipped vanilla cone anyways. The atmosphere makes me feel like we almost step back in time to when our grandparents were young. If you're from outta town and want something different check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Love the old fashioned charm. Great prices best hot shredded chicken ever!!! Amazing ice cream. Our St Bernard lives getting his ice cream cone from the kids working there. Need fries on the menu!!!!!

Ok so I'm in town for business, decided to give this place a go and felt as if I was served cat food. I got a "shredded" chicken sandwich. What I got? You either serve it to cats, senior citizen who can't eat solids, or pigs. Nothing about the chicken was shredded. More like a purée or pate. Absolutely disgusting. So if blended chicken served like a mayo on a bun is your thing, go for it. Idk what you folks are used to eating but I got the shredded chicken after seeing reviews. I got about two bites in before I tossed it. You country bumpkins like puréed chicken?! Didn't taste a solid chunk of "shredded" chicken in there. They most likely cook it quick and blend it instead of slow cooking the chicken and shredding it. Service was great and quick! I just wished the food matched the service. Should've went with the dog..

Best ice cream in Marion. It's much better than a corporate chain ice cream place. The menu has a large variety. It also accepts credit cards. They are only open for the spring and summer.

I had a pineapple Dole Whip in a cup. It's about $3 for the medium size. That is a pretty good price for this. It's good they offer this in place of regular ice cream. This was soothing on such a hot day. As for the rest of the menu, they have typical items like cones. They also have hot food.

It used to accept only cash. Last time they had a credit card reader. They have joined the modern times.

Looking for ice cream in Marion? The place to go when the weather is nice is Jer-Zee! They have sundaes, cones, clippers, food and a ton more choices. This little walk up establishment is a great spot for a cool treat on a warm day, or cold as they start their season mid-February.

I grew up in Marion, and have fond memories of this place. When I am in town, I try to stop here for the Snickers Parfait, which is my favorite item on their large menu. Yesterday I was driving north and was craving it so I drove completely out of my way for just that. The line was long since it was a beautiful warm and sunny day, but I waited patiently for my turn at the window. For $3.69 I was handed the delicious caramel and nut parfait with a mini Snickers on top.

Tip: It is cash only. Lucky I had just enough on me or it would have been a wasted trip.

Only doing 3 stars because sometimes it gets so busy and they barely have 2-3 people working at a time. But other and long wait times on certain nights, place is great

I have been going to Jer-Zee for at least 15 years. This business is a staple in the Marion community! The shredded chicken sandwiches are understated as they most everyone comes to the Jet-Zee for ice cream. The cookie dough and Oreo blizzards are my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of there ice cream. Don't miss out and order a shredded chicken sandwich too!

What's summer without the JerZee?! We moved half an hour away but still make the trip to Marion because the JerZee has the best milkshakes, slushes, coney dogs and shredded chicken sandwiches around!
