The food is your average ma and pa diner style but on the better end of the spectrum. Good homemade food for the most part. Portions are good and service is fast and friendly. They have homemade pies and on Saturday (maybe Sunday too) They have a great breakfast bar with everything you can imagine. Worth a visit.

Good prices! Food is home-cooked. Like their breakfast, especially the fried mush! The biscuits and gravy is pretty good too.

Getting home from a long day of errands. Stopped in since they have a dinner - salad bar. I got the hot chef salad and my husband the buffet bar. Neither of us was disappointed but my husband made sure to show me all the food he had available including soup and desert. Will definitely eat there again soon.

We arrived on a Saturday about 12:30. The restaurant was not crowded at all. The server greeted us and promptly brought our ice water and nice, clean, easily read menus. The prices were not objectionable, and breakfast was served all day. We decided on breakfast choices. I opted for the western omelet with a side of home fries. My companion ordered the biscuits and gravy. There was a bit of a wait for the meals and when they arrived they were not very hot. I got the impression that "breakfast cooking" was over for the most part. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good, not Tudor's or Bob Evans good but, maybe a 7 on the 1-10 biscuit scale. The omelet was just average and the home fries disappointing. A bit overcooked like they had been sitting on the grill awhile. I WOULD like to return sometime for the lunch or dinner menu to check it out as others have given better reviews. The server was very personable and checked on us several times. They had a GREAT pie selection which, as a diabetic, I could not take advantage of. Some of the selections you RARELY see in restaurants (Rhubarb, Elderberry). I understand they have a breakfast bar, so perhaps an earlier visit would have been a better choice.

I was waffling between 1 and 2 stars for this place. The french fries were fresh cut and just the right thickness, and the cornbread was just about perfect. The service was good, and they were very accommodating to my children. Those are the only positive things I have to say, and the reason I gave the second star.

The place is dark and dirty. None of the other food was good, and the prices are terrible for what you get.

I've eaten here almost every Saturday for the last couple years with my dad. We always get the Salmon patties dinner. They are the best. Right up there with grandmas. You really can't find good Salmon patties in the area. If you like them and want some then this is your place. The French fries are fresh cut and fried perfectly. Some of the best fries in town. They have a pretty good selection of pie for dessert. All homemade. I also like there sausage gravy and biscust and cheese omlettes are very good too! The staff is always quick and friendly.

Best burgers around. Angus beef raised right down the road. Great service, and very clean. Prices are right.

Excellent food and service. Small town country diner feel. The best cornbread. And their open faced roast beef sandwich smothered with gravy is awesome. Great meal and service for around 10 bucks.
